MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – No Giannis Antetokounmpo, no problem for the Milwaukee Bucks. They routed the Indiana Pacers Monday night 140-113 with the two-time NBA MVP out with a knee sprain.
Jrue Holiday took up the slack with 28 points and 14 assists, while Khris Middleton added 25 points. Milwaukee won its season-high seventh straight.
Domantas Sabonis scored 22 points for the Pacers, while Doug McDermott added 20 in the loss. The Pacers drop to 19-23.
The Bucks will host the Celtics on Wednesday night.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer says he is hopeful The Greek Freak will return soon. He suffered the injury Saturday in a win over San Antonio.
