As control over the pandemic increases, Sheboygan’s public transit system, Shoreline Metro, has announced that it will resume fixed route public transit service on Saturdays starting on April 3rd. That service was discontinued during the pandemic, and Parking and Transit Director Derek Muench said that provided an opportunity to look at “rightsizing” Sheboygan’s transit service. Muench said the system can now deliver safe, affordable and reliable transit options in a more efficient, cost-effective and dependable way, and that they are adjusting to the changing needs of the customer.
Fixed route service in the City of Sheboygan will now run on Saturdays from 8:45 AM until 3:45 PM, with routes going northbound at 45 minutes past the hour, and southbound at 15 minutes past. Those with questions should visit shorelinemetro.com.
