Laurelei E. Geier, age 77 of Plymouth and beloved wife of Gary, passed away on
Monday, March 15, 2021 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home with Gary beside her.
Laurelei was born on September 21, 1943 in Milwaukee a daughter to the late
Norman and Elizabeth (Kessler) Scharmer. She graduated from high school in
Milwaukee and then attended business college. She was united in marriage to
Gary Geier on July 6, 1968 in Milwaukee. During her many years of employment
throughout her marriage she was a church secretary in the church situations in
which her husband was employed. She had also worked in the medical and legal
fields as a secretary in various hospitals and clinics. She finished her working
career as a cashier working in the Wal-Mart environment and giving the customer
service that she enjoyed.
Laurelei was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. She also enjoyed
being a part of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League.
Laurelei is survived by her husband, Gary and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Laurelei will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 19 at St, John
Lutheran Church with Rev. Nathan Meador officiating. Burial will be in Pinelawn
Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Family and friends may gather at the church, 222
Stafford Street, Plymouth on Friday from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
Memorials in Laurelei’s name are preferred.
