SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A plea hearing is scheduled for today (Thursday) for a Milwaukee man arrested for stealing a gun from a man who had hired him for sex at a Sheboygan hotel.
Court documents charge Jaymes Whitney with felony counts of robbery, theft, and prostitution after the arrest last October. The victim says he had visited a website, found an ad for a woman who would have sex with him for $500, and as she arrived at the hotel room, the victim hid his gun in a night stand.
The victim realized the woman he’d hired was actually Whitney – and he found the gun, took it, and after a brief fight, took off with it. Investigators later tracked down Whitney, and found he was already out on bond for a case out of Kenosha.
Whitney is facing up to 15 years in prison and 50 thousand dollars in fines if he’s found guilty.
