Nancy J. Simenz, 72, of Sheboygan passed away at home unexpectedly on March 8, 2021. Nancy was born to the late William J. and Sophia (Dietz) Simenz on August 13, 1948 in Sheboygan. She attended grade school at Ss. Cyril and Methodius and graduated from St. Joseph High School in Milwaukee. She went on to the UW-Milwaukee and earned a degree in Political Science in 1970 and then received her Master’s degree in Theology from St. Francis Seminary. Nancy was a chaplain at several places including Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and St. Nicholas Hospital. She was involved in local and state politics and enjoyed theater and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Nancy is survived by one sister, Susan Simenz of Green Bay; three brothers, William M. (Sheila) Simenz of Sheboygan, James Simenz of Cornelius, OR and Robert (Jody) Simenz of Marion, OH; nieces and nephews, Shelley (Jeff) Koellmer, Christopher (Stacy) Simenz, Andrew (Kara) Simenz, Molly (Jon) Waters and Nathaniel Simenz; great nieces and nephews, Corbin, William, Sophia and Quentin Simenz, Taylor, Caleb, Josiah Koellmer and Aaron, Jacob, Adelyn Waters.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles and sister-in-law Charlotte Simenz.
