People who have been fully vaccinated may now gather together indoors without restrictions – as long as everyone else present has completed their full course of shots at least two weeks prior.
The CDC released new guidance on Monday. The release also said those individuals may visit indoors with unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe COVID-19 disease without restrictions, however masking and physical distancing is still recommended when in public or when among persons from multiple households.
Fully vaccinated grandparents were also given the green light to visit their grandchildren without restrictions, even if they haven’t been vaccinated, however their unvaccinated parents should still mask up.
