Gerald M. Schlaugat, 84, of the town of Rhine passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Rocky Knoll
Health Care Center.
Gerald was born on September 6, 1936 in Milwaukee a son to the late Carl F. and Matilda A. (Kotnik)
Schlaugat. Following high school he attended college prior to entering the Army in 1959. He was united
in marriage to Diana (Maass) Wingers and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Gerald was a service
writer for various automotive dealerships in Wisconsin and Florida. Gerald enjoyed collecting guns and
was well versed in German history.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Diana, a stepson, Matthew (Nikki Winchester) Wingers of West Bend and
a brother, Charles (Mary) Schlaugat of Ft. Lauderdale, FL Other family and friends further survive.
A family graveside service will be held at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King,
WI.
