Robert Frank Weilbacher, age 79, of Plymouth, WI, passed away Monday
(February 1, 2021) at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan
Falls.
He was born on June 20, 1941, in Plymouth, to the late Frank and Edith (Meyer)
Weilbacher. Plymouth has been home his entire life.
Bob attended Plymouth Grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School
in 1960. While at PHS he was a member of the track team and was praised by
Coach Finke as a valued member of the team.
For much of Bob’s life, he worked alongside his father in his dad’s business
“Frank’s Heating and Sheet Metal”. After his dad’s retirement, Bob worked
various part-time jobs and worked full time at Sargento Foods. Once retired, Bob
enjoyed one-day bus trips with his mother until she was no longer able to go. He
enjoyed trips taken to Branson, Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills and the
Amana Colonies with his family. His hobbies were working on crossword puzzles
and jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed working in the flower beds and vegetable garden.
Also, Bob volunteered at St Vincent de Paul in Plymouth.
Bob was an excellent care-giver to our mother for which the family has much
gratitude. In addition to assisting her with the daily routine and taking her
shopping and to various appointments, Bob cooked and baked with her and
helped with the preserving of the bounty from their garden.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Plymouth.
Bob is survived by his sister, Mary Ann (James) Hellwig, Plymouth; nephew Chris
Meyer (Christina) and their children, Hunter and Dawson; nephew Jamie (Trish)
Meyer and their children Danielle and Mitchell; nephew Ryan (Steph) Meyer and
their children, Alexis, Ella and Nicholas. His brother Roger (Ann) Weilbacher,
Jefferson; nephew, Gary (Julie) Weilbacher, Bloomington, IL and their children

Meyer, North Richland Hills, Texas; former sister-in-law, Janet (Robert) Behling,
Jefferson, and other relatives. Thank you to Gerry and Judy for the many lunches
you shared with Bob.
Preceding him in death, besides his parents, were a nephew, Brian Weilbacher,

The family would like to thank Dr. Marshall Matthews, and his staff, for the care
and support given to Bob. Many times they told him “You are part of our family.”
That comment put a smile on Bob’s face. We couldn’t have asked for a better
“team” to care for Bob over the years. To the caring staff at Sharon Richardson
Hospice, whether you made visits to him at home (you know who you are) or you
cared for him during the few hours he came in as a patient (you know who you
are), YOU ARE THE BEST! Saying “Thank You” to Matthews Oncology and Sharon
Richardson Hospice doesn’t seem to be enough to express our gratitude but those
words come straight from the hearts of Bob’s family.
