With the chaos created by the pandemic, many Americans ran into problems keeping their health insurance up-to-date; so many that President Biden announced a new open enrollment period last week to begin February 15th.
State Insurance Commissioner Mark Afable and Governor Evers yesterday said that the new period will run through May 15th, and they’re urging Wisconsinites who either missed the original enrollment deadline or their first payment for their enrolled plan to use the opportunity to sign up. Also, anyone already enrolled will be able to review their plan and make any changes necessary.
