Charles “Chuck” O. Kammerer, 68, of Chilton, WI, passed away in the afternoon on Thursday,
January 28, 2021 at his home.
Chuck was born on March 31, 1952, to Harold and Delores (Guerke) Kammerer. He graduated
from Elkhart Lake High School. After high school graduation, Chuck enlisted in the United States
Air Force and served honorably for eight years with deployments during Vietnam to Thailand in
combat support operations. He retired from Sohn’s Manufacturing of Elkhart Lake in 2017.
Chuck is survived by his children, David (Claire) Kammerer of Tennessee and Tina Doucet of
Georgia; grandchildren, Hunter and Orion Kammerer, Devin Honshul, Erin and Shelby Brewer;
and other relatives and friends.
Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Weber; and brother, Richard (Kay) Kammerer of
Sheboygan Falls.
A private memorial service will be held with Rev. Beth Petzke officiating.
