(WHBL) – A Manitowoc County man could spend up to 30 years in prison if he’s found guilty of the three charges returned on Tuesday by a federal grand jury. Those charges include transportation of minors in interstate and foreign commerce with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and the production of child pornography.
The charges were issued against 59-year-old Timothy Tetzlaff of the Town of Mishicot. Each count on the two transportation charges carries a mandatory ten years’ and up to life imprisonment, while the child pornography charge carries from 15 to 30 years if he’s found guilty. The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
