MADISON, WI (WHBL) – Micah Potter put up a game-high 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the seventh-ranked Wisconsin Badgers cruise past number-24 Minnesota 71-59 at the Kohl Center on Thursday.
D’Mitrik Trice and Aleem Ford each added 14 points for the Badgers as Wisconsin led the entire game.
Minnesota was held to a season-low 22 points in the first half and trailed by as many as 26 in the second half.
Gabe Kalscheur led Minnesota with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Liam Robbins and Brandon Johnson each added 12 points and nine boards in the setback. The Golden Gophers dip to 9-2.
The Badgers improved to 9-2 with the win and will visit Penn State on Sunday. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 10am.
