Marceline (Marcy) O. Kraemer, age 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, December 10,
2020, due to complications from COVID-19. She was a resident of Pine Haven Assisted Living for the past
5 years. Marceline, known as Marcy to her family and friends, was born on December 18, 1927 in
Sheboygan, WI to Arno and Irene Mauk.
Marcy attended elementary school through her sophomore year in Sheboygan Falls and graduated from
Plymouth High School in 1945. Marcy married Donald Kraemer on June 22, 1946 at Zoar Reformed
Church in the Town of Rhine. She worked at General Telephone Electric as a Telephone Operator and
Repair/Service Representative for 25 years, before retiring in 1990.
She enjoyed playing cards and getting together with lifelong friends every month for most of her adult
life. Marcy and Don loved to dance and travel. Highlights of their travels include a vacation to Hawaii in
1996 and celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on a family houseboat trip to Dale Hollow Lake,
Tennessee in 1997. While she had fond memories of these trips, Marcy preferred spending time at
home with her family and friends. It was a place she and Don took great pride in caring for. She was a
gracious hostess and always went out of her way to make others comfortable and well-fed. Marcy's
family always came first in her life. She and Don often took road trips to visit family both in and out of
state. They also enjoyed frequent trips to Schreiner’s Restaurant in Fond du Lac. Marcy was a member of
Salem U.C.C.
She is survived by four children, Sharon (John) Zwirchitz of Waupaca, James (Mary) Kraemer of
Cincinnati, OH, Micki (James) Classen of Belleville, IL, and Karole Mountain of Lincoln, NE; seven
grandchildren: Jen (Chris) Fender, Brian (Bree) Kraemer, Ali (Mike) Hipp, Dan (Lindsay) Classen, Leah

Marcy is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Kenny (Kay) Mauk, sister-in-law, Kathy Mauk,
and several nieces and nephews.
