Ronald J. Kober, age 84, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Sunny
Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ron was born October 25, 1936 in Sheboygan, the son of Fred and Anna (nee Zavrl) Kober.
After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ron worked within
various family businesses, Kober Heating & Cooling, Triangle Auto Salvage, and RCK Storage,
throughout his life.
He enjoyed socializing and having a few beers at Petek’s Tavern, Vibez, and Four of a Kind. He
was best known as 9:00 Ron at Petek’s and will be deeply missed.
Ron is survived by his nieces and nephews, LuAnn, Randy, Jackie, Chrissy, Craig, Kevin, and Kurt;
cousin Tony Zavrl (Beate Johnson) and many others. He is further survived by other relatives
and many friends. Along with his parents, Fred and Anna, Ron was preceded in death by
brothers, Robert, Freddie, and James and a niece Catherine.
According to Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Greendale
Cemetery.
