(WHBL) – After about a month without new cases, COVID-19 has resurfaced at the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution near Greenbush.
The facility had been a hotbed of coronavirus activity earlier this year when an outbreak built up 844 cases by the end of summer. That activity had largely disappeared by the first week in November when 868 cases in all were tallied.
As of Monday, however, another four cases were added, and a National Guard testing team was dispatched in order to trace contacts and bring the most recent outbreak at KMCI under control.
