GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — President Donald Trump spoke to a large crowd at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport Friday afternoon. Trump touted his record on jobs and the economy and took plenty of shots at his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden.
“Biden will deliver poverty, misery, and depression. I will deliver jobs, jobs, jobs, and the greatest economy in the history of our country,” the President told the large crowd. “That’s going to be next year.”
While exact attendance numbers aren’t clear, well over a thousand people were in attendance.
The President spoke for a little over an hour. He emphasized federal investment in Wisconsin, including at Oshkosh Corporation and Marinette Marine.
“You have a President who is standing up for America, and standing up for the great people of Wisconsin, I am,” Trump said. “Four days from now we’re going to win this state,” said Trump. “And we are going to win four more beautiful years in the White House.”
Wisconsin is seen as crucial in the President’s election effort alongside other upper Midwest states like Michigan and Minnesota–both of which he also visited on Friday.
