MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Ryan Braun may have played his last game for the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers declined to exercise their end of a 15-million-dollar mutual option on Braun for 2021. Braun immediately becomes a free agent.
The option includes a four-million-dollar buyout. His five-year, 105-million-dollar contract extension, signed in his 2011 MVP season, expired this year. He has spent his entire career with the Brewers, who drafted him in the first round in 2005.
