MANITOWOC, WI (WHBL) – Manitowoc County has filed charges connected to large-scale narcotics distribution from Milwaukee for the second time in less than a week.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig on Tuesday reported the arrest and charges against 23-year-old Quintin R. Hollis of Milwaukee on four counts of delivery of the schedule-2 narcotic fentanyl, and one count of delivery of heroin within 1,000 feet of a park – in this case, Lincoln Park. That’s the area, along with another near I-43, where investigators made two controlled purchases of about 5 grams of heroin and 23 grams of fentanyl from Hollis back in July.
Then in August, two more controlled purchases of 32 grams of fentanyl were made, again near I-43. A sting was conducted on September 3rd when Hollis agreed to a third delivery of $20,000 worth of fentanyl and heroin from Milwaukee.
Upon his arrest, investigators located a total of 355 grams – about 3/4 Lb – of fentanyl, concealed in Hollis’ clothes. The total value of the September seizure was over $70,000.
