MANITOWOC, WI (WHBL) – With assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, an investigation by the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit resulted in the arrests of two persons they allege were distributing narcotics. Charges were filed and a bail hearing was held Wednesday for 32-year-old Breanna Pieschel and 29-year-old Malachi Hetzer, both of Manitowoc.
According to reports, the Wisconsin DOJ observed the two meeting in Milwaukee with individuals consistent with drug transactions. Law enforcement then located and stopped their vehicle on I-43 south of Manitowoc and found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, and when brought to the jail, discovered approximately 35 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of heroin and 5 grams of fentanyl in Pieschel’s clothing. She was charged with numerous drug-related violations including Delivery of Schedule-2 Narcotics, Keeping a Drug House, and Possession with Intent to Deliver, while Hetzer was charged with being party to the crimes as well as with violating his parole.
