(WHBL) – Area highways are getting plenty of attention from Wisconsin DOT crews, and motorists in and near Sheboygan County may need to plan ahead in some cases.
Those traveling between Manitowoc and Sheboygan will encounter pavement repair on southbound I-43 between 7 AM and 4 PM this Wednesday, through Friday, October 30th. That one will require various lane closures.
Pavement repair operations will take place on Highway 57 between Plymouth and Random Lake this Wednesday through Friday between 6 AM and 4 PM daily, also requiring various lane closures.
Highway 23 pavement repairs will be done today in both directions between Highway 32 at Sheboygan Falls and I-43 through 4 PM, using moving lane closures to keep traffic flowing. However,on Tuesday some ramp closures might force you to detour. Those ramps are at Highway 32 north of Sheboygan Falls. The on-ramp to 23 eastbound and the westbound 23 off-ramp to Highway 32 will be closed Tuesday between 5 AM and 5 PM. Detours will use County Highways “Y” and “O” to get around the project.
