CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The teenager accused of killing two protesters in Kenosha has an extradition hearing set for the end of the month. Kyle Rittenhouse was in court briefly Friday morning in Lake County, Illinois.
His lawyers are fighting extradition to Wisconsin to stand trial for the two murders during violent protests that erupted in Kenosha in August. Rittenhouse’s attorneys say the teen was acting in self defense.
The extradition hearing is set for the 17-year-old suspect on October 30th.
