Harvey Charles Schulz, 90, of Sheboygan, passed away early Saturday morning, September 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born July 1, 1930 in Sheboygan, Harvey was a son of the late August and Emma Matzdorff Schulz. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1950. On August 30, 1952, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Kunert in Sheboygan. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army with the 127th Infantry, Company F from 1953 to 1955. They were married for 54 years before Patricia preceded him in death on June 30, 2007.
Harvey was a crane operator for the Kohler Company for 28 years before his retirement. He previously worked at the Garton Toy Factory. He was a member of Zion Covenant Church. He was also a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and the VFW Post 9156. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He enjoyed working in his yard and tending to his flowers.
He is survived by his children, Richard Schulz, Vicki Kussard and Scott (Therese) Schulz, all of Sheboygan; our grandchildren, Jamie (Anthony) Wyman, Sheboygan Falls, Ashley (Randy) Kasten, English Lake, Amanda Schulz, Cleveland, and Patrick Schulz, Sheboygan; five great grandchildren, Amelia, Alyssa, Isabella, Sawyer and Wesley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his beloved dog, JoJo.
Besides his parents and wife, Patricia, he was preceded in death by his sister, Verona (Harry) Meyer, his brother, Robert (Ann) Schulz, and his son-in-law, Dennis Kussard.
Private family services will take place at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
