MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers scored six runs in the 4th inning and rallied for a 9-5 win over the Kansas City Royals Friday night at Miller Park.
Jacob Nottingham hit a grand slam, his first in the majors. Orlando Arcia had a three run blast and Christian Yelich hit his 150th career homer in the win.
Drew Rasmussen picked up the win. Six Brewers relievers held KC scoreless over the last six innings.
The Brewers kept pace as the Cubs, Reds and Cardinals all won. Milwaukee will host the Royals again Saturday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 5:35.
