MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WHBL) – Aaron Rodgers threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Packers past the Vikings 43-34 in the season opener in Minneapolis on Sunday.
Davante Adams had 14 catches for 156 yards and two TD’s for Green Bay, while Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard also had receiving scores. Aaron Jones added 66 yards and a score on the ground in the season-opening victory.
Kirk Cousins finished 19-of-25 for 259 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Vikings. Adam Thielen had two TD catches and Dalvin Cook ran in for a pair of scores in the setback.
The Packers will host Detroit on Sunday.
