CLEVELAND, OHIO (WSAU) — Keston Hiura had three RBIs as the Milwaukee Brewers beat Cleveland 7-1 on Friday night.
Milwaukee scored four runs in the 7th and two in the 8th to blow open a tie game. Hiura had a RBI double in the 7th and a two-run homer in the 8th. He leads the team in home runs with 10.
Ben Gamel had three hits and newest Brewer Daniel Vogelbach had two has the offense banged out 12 in the game.
Meanwhile Corbin Burnes was shutting down Cleveland. He pitched into the 7th inning giving up just three hits and one unearned run striking out seven to pick up his second win of the season.
Milwaukee, now 18-19, will play in Cleveland again Saturday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 5:35.
