SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – There was a high speed chase through Sheboygan County overnight. At 2:02am, Ozaukee County alerted the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department of a car on northbound I-43 traveling at 99 miles per hour that refused to stop.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department coordinated with Manitowoc County to set up spike strips to stop the car as it entered Manitowoc County. Spike strips blew out the vehicle’s tires, and the driver, a man from Illinois, was charged with eluding and operating without a license.
