ISTANBUL (Reuters) – Two high-profile Venezuelan opposition leaders are in talks with the government of President Nicolas Maduro to participate in the upcoming legislative elections, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Tuesday.
Henrique Capriles and Stalin Gonzalez spoke with Turkish officials about ensuring that the presence of outside observers for the vote, which Maduro has agreed to, Cavusoglu said in a press conference.
