SHEBOYGAN, WI (whbl) – A Sheboygan man is one of 42 new Wisconsin State Troopers. Kevin Vue of Sheboygan has completed 26 weeks of comprehensive training at the State Patrol Academy in Fort McCoy and is now fulfilling his sworn duty to “serve and protect” the public.
Vue has been assigned to Winnebago County where his duties will include enforcing traffic laws, responding to incidents, assisting stranded motorists, inspecting commercial motor vehicles along with efforts to combat illegal drugs and human trafficking.
Last year, the Wisconsin State Patrol handled over 212 thousand traffic stops, more than 41 thousand motorist assists and inspected about 40 thousand commercial motor vehicles.
