SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) – Highway 67, just south of Plymouth, had to be shut down for about 2 hours Monday night because of a standoff situation.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department says that just before 9pm they got a report of a car that had run off the road at the intersection of State Highway 67 and Hillwind Road, and they learned the driver of that car was being sought for a pending investigation.
For two hours deputies worked to bring a peaceful end to the standoff. In the end, nobody was hurt, and the driver was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
