SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The 18 year old Sheboygan man arrested for shooting and killing Michael Kirsch on Sheboygan’s south side last month is scheduled to make his preliminary appearance in court today.
Daniel Mares was arrested on February 6th, less than an hour after witnesses say he shot and killed Kirsch after a fight that began earlier in the day, and then escalated in front of a home on Clara Avenue.
Mares has been charged with first degree intentional homicide, and is facing life in prison.
