Traffic had to be routed around a fire that was dealt with by Sheboygan Fire Department crews on Friday morning.
Public reports of a suspected structure fire were corrected by SFD Chief of Inspection and Prevention Nic Noster, who said that they responded to a vehicle fire in the 600 block of N. 14th Street, and needed to shut down area roads to maintain a safe environment for responders.
The fire did not spread to any structures and was contained to the vehicle alone.
