SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – For those hoping to keep their college education on-track, UW-Green Bay, which includes the Sheboygan campus, will offer all of its over 200 summer courses and a variety of virtual camps online for the first time ever.
The COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the spring semester, forcing students to employ virtual classrooms and remote learning in order to complete their coursework. The new summer schedule is designed to help make up for that and to provide new learning opportunities.
UW-Green Bay Chancellor-elect Michael Alexander said that the online course offering is a way for students and those preparing to enter the workforce to stay positive about the future.
The Summer Camps for youth have been transitioned from on-campus to online and offer 13 distinct camps in areas like nursing, art, engineering, coding and voice lessons. Those will be presented from June 15 through August 17th, and information can be found at:
Campers already registered for face-to-face summer camps are currently being notified and will receive a full refund.
