Town of Sheboygan Chairman Daniel W. Hein has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY for the Town of Sheboygan effective Immediately, Friday, January 12th, 2024, until 12:00 pm, January 13th, 2024 to facilitate Snow Removal Operations for the community.
All Town of Sheboygan residents are reminded that during a declared Snow Emergency parking on any public roadway is prohibited. Residents should move any vehicles to driveways or garages for the duration of the Emergency. This will allow Public Works personnel to clear snow and allow for movement of Emergency Vehicles.
Plowing operations will continue to open roadways, public facilities, and schools. Nonessential travel is not recommended during storm conditions. Radio and Newspapers will broadcast any essential Emergency Public Information or School Closings. Residents are urged to keep advised of changing conditions and travel only if needed.
Residents are urged not to call Police, Fire, or 911 for storm information. Calls to these officials should be for Emergency Requests Only. All residents should continue to follow radio and television information for any updates, extension, or cancellation of this SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARATION.
