Kristine “Kris” Sterk, age 76 of Sheboygan passed away Saturday August 8, 2026. Kris was born April 11, 1950, in Sheboygan to the late Bernard and Jean (Leubner) Kistner. On July 16, 1988, she was united in marriage to Randy Sterk at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Kris was employed with the Sheboygan Area School District as a teachers aid for over 25 years, retiring in 2015. She enjoyed going to Door County, watching birds and loved her cats.
Kris is survived by her loving husband, Randy, children Matthew (Lisa) Dross of Sheboygan, Tricia (Steven) Krause of Tennessee, Julia Dross of Sheboygan Falls, step-children John (Amy) Sterk of Plymouth, and Carrie Morrow of Sheboygan, grandchildren Libby Dross, Leah Dross, Cody Morrow, Cassie Morrow and Anthony “A.J.” (Allie) Sterk, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Gary (Monica) Sterk of Sheboygan, sister-in-law Sue (Greg) Thiel of Germantown, brother-in-law Ron Nordstrom of Green Bay. Kris was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law Debbie Nordstrom.
There will be no services.
The family wished to extend a special thank you to the staff of Sheboygan Health Services.
