Crews continue their work on several highway projects in Sheboygan County, causing some traffic restrictions. Detours remain in place routing traffic around the I-43 South interchange with Highway 23, while overnight ramp closures affect the southbound off ramp to Highway 28 now through Thursday, along with both the north – and southbound ramps at Highway 23 Sunday through Friday nights…all from 8 PM until 6 AM.
Traffic will be single-lane on the County Highway PP overpass between Sheboygan and Kohler while expansion joints replacement is underway.
There are no changes this week to the Highway 28 detour between Highway 57 and County Road N, but the contractor is forming the new bridge deck and the concrete pour is next once that’s done.
Drivers are also reminded that Monroe Street crossing the river in Sheboygan Falls is closed for resurfacing between Broadway and Water Street.
