Jean M. Arndt, 56, passed away unexpectedly in Oklahoma City on July 12th, 2026. She was born to John L. and Jaculin A. Arndt of Sheboygan, WI.
Jean graduated from St. Luke’s Radiology Technician Program and specialized in Interventional Radiology and then MRI at Aurora Healthcare. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree at UW-Milwaukee in English with a minor in Psychology.
While in Milwaukee Jean was active in the Celtic community. The Milwaukee Hurling Club, Irish Fest, CWDS and the Highland Games were among her favorites.
Though she is originally from Sheboygan Jean seemed more at home “on the road.” For the last two decades she has been a contract radiology technician all across the country. From Philly to Flagstaff, she has had the opportunity to work in many different capacities in Radiology. Her most recent stint took her to Oklahoma City and Texas.
She is survived by her mom, sisters Jane (Dan) Zabel of Watertown, Julie, her brother John (Amy) of Sheboygan and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her dad, a sister-in-law, a niece, and a nephew.
Our family would like to sincerely thank the Candlewood Community for making Jean feel at home and welcome while she was there. The love and support that they showed us during this difficult time will forever be in our hearts.
