Work continues on the southbound collector ramps & loops of I-43 at the Highway 23 intersection this week, and work on the northbound counterpart is now scheduled to begin next week. For now, traffic patterns will be much the same as last week, but ramp closures are expected at Highway 28 on Wednesday.
Those closures involve both the northbound off-ramp to Highway 28 and the southbound on-ramp to I-43 at that same intersection and will last from 5 AM until 8 PM that day. If weather interferes, then that work will take place on Thursday.
Late night drivers will also encounter lane closures between County Road “O” and Highway 42 both Wednesday and Thursday for pavement markings.
