Abnormally dry conditions dominate Sheboygan and surrounding counties in east-central Wisconsin, however forecasters at the National Weather Service say that’s not likely to progress to a full-on drought over the next month.
The last 30 days have seen an overall deficit on rainfall although thunderstorms over the past week have helped buffer that a bit. Another half, to 3/4 of an inch this week should keep that trend in place.
However the seasonal outlook isn’t as optimistic, with drought likely to show up within the next three months.
