The Manitowoc County Coroner has determined after a lengthy investigation that two persons found deceased earlier this year were apparently not victims of foul play. Coroner Curtis Green said the case began this past February 3rd with the report of two people found deceased inside a rural home in northern Manitowoc County, lying within a few feet of each other. A person who leased land from the brother and sister, 82-year-old Kenneth and 74-year-old Sandra Krall, made the discovery.
Kenneth had last been seen in May of 2025 and had been dead for at least 6 months, while Sandra had apparently passed away a few days before the two were found. Utilities to the home had been shut off in December of last year.
After expanded toxicology and X-rays were completed for both with no significant findings, the Coroner said that Sandra died of natural causes, but a cause for Kenneth’s death will remain “undetermined”. No foul play is suspected.
