Friday Accident on Same Road a Quarter-Mile Away
That stretch of Highway V saw another accident just days before, this one at the intersection with Haven Drive one-quarter of a mile south. It was just after noon Friday when a 16-year-old Campbellsport resident driving an SUV eastbound on Haven Drive failed to yield right-of-way after stopping at V and entering the path of a northbound vehicle being operated by a 55-year-old Campbellsport woman.
All three juveniles in the eastbound vehicle sustained minor injuries and were treated at Froedtert Hospital in West Bend, while the northbound driver and sole occupant was taken to SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with serious injuries. Charges haven’t yet been issued as that accident remains under investigation.
