Holland Festival, a nearly 80-year tradition in the Village of Cedar Grove, has had to make a change for the very first time. Organizers announced that the main street through the village will not be able to host street scrubbing, klompen dancing and the parade as usual due to construction on Main Street. Those traditional elements will still take place but on a new route that takes the parade south on 2nd Street beginning at Union Avenue, then west on Center Street, north on 6th street and finally east on West Willow Avenue.
What won’t change is a host of activity like music, traditional Dutch and other food at the headquarters at Memorial Park Thursday through Friday, July 24th – 26th. Holland Festival is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event attended by thousands each year in the Sheboygan County village.
