There’s a new Executive Director at Inspire Wisconsin, a Sheboygan-based nonprofit organization that connects schools, employers and communities to promote access to meaningful career-based learning experiences.
Lindsay Ohlfs has been named the new Executive Director, taking over the position previously held by Candice Boutelle, who will transition into a new role as Statewide Work-Based Learning Manager with Xello. That company serves as an interactive, all-in-one college and career readiness platform.
President of the Inspire Wisconsin Board of Directors, Michael Trimberger, praised Boutelle’s leadership as “transformative”, saying that, “She brought vision, energy, and a deep commitment to students and community partnerships.” Trimberger said that under her leadership, the organization experienced steady organizational expansion, strengthening its financial position and increasing its overall capacity to serve students and partners across the state.
Incoming Director Linday Ohlfs joins Inspire Wisconsin after most recently serving as Principal of Horace Mann Middle School, and is a recipient of the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award for excellence in education.
Inspire Wisconsin currently engages nearly 50,000 students annually, connecting them to meaningful, real-world career experiences that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
