Under heavy demand for trained commercial truck drivers, Lakeshore College has launched a program aimed at satisfying that demand. The in-person program provides students with the training needed to meet federal Entry-Level Driver Training requirements and pursue a Commercial Driver License in Wisconsin.
The program taught in Cleveland now eliminates the need to travel to Fond du Lac, Milwaukee, Appleton or Green Bay for the instruction. The program is taught in an eight-week traditional format and features four start dates each year. Students will get hands-on, behind-the-wheel training using industry-standard equipment, taught by instructors with extensive professional driving and teaching experience.
The Truck Driving program is a one-term technical diploma consisting of nine credits and is delivered entirely in-person on the Cleveland campus. For more information or to register, visit lakeshore.edu/truck-driving.
