Gas Buddy has released its Summer Travel Survey—which says that even with the higher gas prices, 56% of us still plan on driving more than 2 hours this summer—that’s down a bit from last year, but still shows that we love our road trips.
GasBuddy forecasts the national average for a tank of gas will reach $4.48 per gallon on Memorial Day, up from $3.14 per gallon a year ago, and could average $4.80 per gallon over the summer with the possibility of all-time record highs if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed for a significant portion of the summer.
Gas Buddy reports a gallon of regular gas here in Sheboygan ranges from $4.29 to $4.49 a gallon.
