Sheboygan’s Police and Fire Commission will consider what, if any, disciplinary action should be taken against Police Lieutenant William Adams today.
At a May 6th meeting it was determined that charges filed by Chief Kurt Zempel against Adams were reasonably specific related to police duties and sufficient to warrant impositions of discipline within the scope of Wisconsin State Statutes (WIS. STAT. S. 62. 13(S)).
After reviewing the bylaws related to the disciplinary process along with related forms, the Commission will go into closed session to confer about the charges against Adams. Once they re-convene in open session, they could take action on those charges.
Today’s meeting takes place at 4 PM in City Hall.
