The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation has awarded over $1.8 million to Sheboygan area high school seniors about to graduate. The Foundation administers more than 68 separate scholarships on behalf of generous donors, organizations, businesses and families who are committed to advancing education and supporting students pursuing higher education opportunities.
During its third annual scholarship night held Wednesday, May 6th, 95 Sheboygan Area School District students were awarded 129 scholarships from 56 separate scholarship funds, supporting students advanced studies whether that be trades, music, pre-med or any other type of future. The 95 were selected from a pool of 1,658 scholarship applications submitted by 268 graduating seniors.
