The Sheboygan Common Council has awarded more than $136,000 in community development block grants to 6 groups.
Adobe, Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization, the Salvation Army, Shoreline Metro, the Sheboygan Warming Center , and Lakeshore CAP were awarded between $12,000 and $31,200 from the City.
The City of Sheboygan was awarded just over $910,600 in total funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for housing and community development. Out of those funds, the City was allowed to award 15% to public service entities.
