Richard Arvin Grunewald, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1952 in Sheboygan to the late Arvin and Marion (Plate) Grunewald. He served honorably in the United States Navy following high school. He and his wife Denise (nee Miesfeld) were married for over 52 years.
Richard loved wood working, planting on his farm land. He had an orchard full of apple trees, and enjoyed tending to his many “fur babies,” including his cats, dogs, goats, llamas, and sheep. He also liked watching cooking shows, and shared many meals with his friends and family. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Richard is survived by his wife Denise, and his siblings Roger, Carol, Charlie and Russ.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Per Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
