The City of Sheboygan is piloting several traffic calming demonstration projects this spring to improve safety. The projects are intended to slow traffic, increase crosswalk visibility, and reduce crossing distance.
The project areas are Wilson Avenue and 15th Street, Wilson Avenue and Wedemeyer Street, Pennsylvania Avenue and 4th, and Pennsylvania Ave and Broughton Drive.
The temporary curbs have all been installed and will last for the next 1-2 months. More information about the project can be found online by clicking this link.
