It appears that the ingredients needed to produce heavy rainfall across Sheboygan County and much of Wisconsin are coming together over the next 24-36 hours. The National Weather Service says that rain and weak storms on Monday morning could yield to stronger storms late Monday afternoon and evening. The hours of most concern here are between 6 and 10 PM and at this time, concern is minor. That’s not the case for all of southern Wisconsin, though, as southwest and south-central areas have a major concern for severe storms during those same hours.

Soils are still saturated in Sheboygan County and forecasters assign the area a 32% risk of rainfall in excess of an inch Monday through Monday night. Forecasters are likely to adjust forecasts on Monday morning when more updated information becomes available.
